Mohave Community College in Arizona has adopted competency-based education for students pursuing a degree in substance abuse counseling, allowing students to complete their courses faster through self-paced, individualized instruction.

Proposal would expand Tenn. Promise   

Gov. Bill Haslam wants to the expand to adults a program that provides free community college tuition to recent high school graduates.
