Kudos
Kim Dale, president of Western Wyoming Community College (Western), has received the 2023 Advocate Award for excellence in support of economic and community development in Wyoming. The award is presented by the Wyoming Economic Development Association, which cited Dale’s efforts to expand economic opportunities and provide relevant educational programs. Her most recent endeavors have included Western’s new powerline and cybersecurity programs, and workforce development support for a proposed nuclear power plant.
Appointment
Zach Barricklow will join the North Carolina Community College System at the end of the year as its new associate vice president for strategy and rural innovation. He is currently vice president of rural innovation and organizational change at Wilkes Community College (North Carolina).
