Amazon, which is building new headquarters in northern Virginia, announced it will help Northern Virginia Community College and George Mason University create a new bachelor’s degree to help meet its future workforce needs. The initiative will help address concerns that there aren’t enough skilled workers for the fast-changing tech industry. The company also announced an affordable housing initiative.
