Figures provided by the Community College of Rhode Island show 14.6 percent of the 1,577 freshmen – 231 students – who entered the college straight from high school last fall completed 15 credits and maintained a 2.5 grade point average during their first semester, up from less than 1 percent the year before.
Colleges wary of dual-enrollment change
