More than 8,000 students who would like to enroll in Utah’s technical college programs are stuck on waitlists, unable to access what is supposed to be one of the fastest and most affordable options for higher education in the state.

Minnesota State Community and Technical College says it is closing its Detroit Lakes campus due to low enrollment. The college, also known as M State, says the campus will stay open through at least the summer of 2028.
