Citing pandemic struggles, Seattle offers more support for students in tuition-free community-college program

Students in Seattle’s tuition-free community-college program will get additional support, including summer classes, expanded financial aid and help transferring to four-year colleges, Mayor Jenny Durkan and school officials said Thursday.

Not only are county students attending public two-year institutions, but out-of-state students and even international students are coming to these New Jersey schools because they have some unique programs and specific degrees not offered anywhere else such as mortuary sciences and aviation.
