Three sitting U.S. presidents have attended the Annual Convention of the American Association of Community Colleges.

President George H.W. Bush was the first U.S. president to speak at the AACC Annual Convention in 1989, when it was held in Washington, D.C. He is joined by Dale Parnell (left), president of the association, and David Ponitz, who was board chair and president of Sinclair Community College (Ohio).

President George W. Bush traveled to Minneapolis, Minnesota, to address attendees of the 2004 AACC Annual Convention.
