Interim CEO
Rolando Montoya, a retired provost at Miami Dade College (MDC) and a former trustee at the college, is now interim president of the college. Prior to his retirement in 2016, Montoya over his three decades at MDC was provost, Wolfson Campus president, dean of academic affairs, chair of the business department, and a professor of accounting, finance, economics and statistics.

Mitchell Levy, associate vice president of academic affairs at the College of Southern Maryland, has been appointed editor of a leading international student affairs association publication. He will oversee “Synergy,” a professional development newsletter published by the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators’ Student Affairs Partnering with Academic Affairs Knowledge Community.
