‘M-cubed’ seeks to boost college success for Milwaukee students

M³, or M-cubed, named for the three largest educational institutions in southeastern Wisconsin, aims to bolster the number of Milwaukee public school students who graduate from high school — and then Milwaukee Area Technical College or the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee — and be better prepared to succeed in an increasingly competitive workplace.

Facing a state funding cut, Nebraska Community Colleges are employing a fact sheet to demonstrate to state lawmakers the value of community colleges when it comes to training tomorrow’s workforce.

Two Calif. colleges launch biomanufacturing bachelor-degree program

For years, Solano and MiraCosta Community Colleges have collaborated in offering biotechnology and biomanufacturing education to equip students to fill technician roles at nearby companies. This fall, the two schools will launch identical four-year degree programs in biomanufacturing to meet the industry’s growing demand for a highly skilled workforce with increasing levels of education.
