2010 Youth Theater: A Year with Frog and Toad

 Arnold Lobel's well-loved characters hop from the page to the stage. This family friendly musical remains true to the spirit of the four original stories from which it is adapted.

Come spend an evening with two best friends as they learn life lessons including an important one about friendship and triumph in the characteristics that make each of us different and special.

A Year With Frog and Toad follows the adventures of two best friends, the Charming Frog and the Worry Wart Toad.  Upon awakening from hibernation, Frog and Toad embark on adventures though four, fun filled, sled riding, cookie chomping, water splashing, leaf raking seasons.  While on their journey they meet their friends, the Snappy Turtle, the very Slow Snail, a family of Energetic Birds, a Miffed Little Mouse, a Lounging Lizard, a pair of Hip Moles, and those irresistible yet Naughty Squirrels.  The animals come to life with amusing and heart-warming songs with a jazzy ‘30s style beat.
