Sponsored by Del Mar College, Apartment and Commercial Services and the Willard F. Hammonds Family, the Corpus Christi Municipal Band will celebrate the Fourth of July with a free concert at Heritage Park!
Budget constraints nearly limited the Municipal Band to a single summer performance back on June 20, but that concert was such a success that sponsors came forward to fund an entire series of summer concerts.
The band's July 4 performance will include a selection of John Philip Sousa marches, show tunes and a suite of American folk songs called "American Panorama." Attendees can expect to hear several other traditional band pieces as well.
