Maryland has about 3,900 manufacturing companies and 60 percent are in some form of advanced manufacturing. Hagerstown Community College leaders and others discussed the changing workforce at the Manufacturing 4.0 conference.
N.C. governor touts Finish Line grants

Gov. Roy Cooper spent an afternoon at Lenoir Community College, highlighting his Finish Line Grants program, which helps community college students facing financial emergencies to finish their training. LCC is the first community college in North Carolina to receive this grant money.
