The 2017 American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) Convention April 22-25 has a program chock-full of events and activities to help you and your team lead your college in the 21st century.
Annette Parker, president of Minnesota’s South Central College, has been attending the AACC annual convention for 20 years. Each year, she makes new connections and re-connects with colleagues.
“The healthy exchange of ideas and tremendous networking opportunities are invaluable, with the benefits extending long after the convention,” said Parker, who serves on the AACC board of directors. “Some of the relationships that started there years ago continue to this day.”
Another benefit of the AACC convention is that it brings together the nation’s community college leaders and stakeholders to one location for frank discussions, sharing of ideas and developing relationships.
“It is the one event each year where I can connect with the most community college colleagues at the same time,” Parker said.
